'Tis the Season for Giving

As the holidays approach, most of us will be spending time with family and friends.  What if you could not spend that precious time with your loved ones?  What if you were livng in a shelter or with a new family who you were unfamiliar with?  That is the case for many of the young men currently living at Waccamaw Youth Center.  Presently, the Center is home to 14 young men; 4 of which have lived at the Center for over 5 years!  The other young men range in length of stay from just a few days to nearly two years.  Adjusting to a new home can be a challenging obstacle for anyone but can be especially difficult for a teenager or child.  This holiday season, we are hoping to brighten the spirits of all of residents and show them the love and support that they deserve.  There are countless ways in which you can assist us in our mission to provide the best services possible to the boys at Waccamaw Youth Center.  Please accept our invitation to be part of our extended family!
